Evolution Of Metaverse
The biggest fad in recent times is the 𝐞𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞. We have witnessed 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗿𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝘁𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳 𝗮𝗻𝗱 Roblox 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 $𝟯𝟵 𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗽 because of their potential to exploit this vast virtual digital world market.
Currently, companies are 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘃𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗺𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗯𝘂𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 to lease space. For instance, a retailer acquired a piece of the digital estate in Decentraland for $2.5 million through #cryptocurrency because of its positioning as a downtown fashion district.

In my view, investors are playing into the buzzwords of the Metaverse. Any company can add value only in the following ways:
1)Improving their revenue growth trajectory
2)Improving the profitability of the business model
3)Reducing their underlying business risks.
Metaverse, 𝐦𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐨𝐫 𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 as it will only grow more significant than any other digital technology like #Cloud. Instead, 𝐦𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐲, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐩𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞.
Digital real estate, 𝘂𝗻𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲, 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹, and you buy this digital real estate through highly volatile cryptocurrency. Thus by extension, the 𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐲 𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐞.
My question is that with so many sufferings in the real world through wars or climate change, i𝘀 𝗶𝘁 𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗱𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗮 𝘃𝗶𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱? Instead, we can spend these dollars on improving the quality of life of people in the real world and making it a better place to live.
𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆, 𝗮𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗸𝘆 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘁, 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗮 𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹.
